Blacknall takes over A&M line
Anthony Jones hired an old friend to fill Alabama A&M's vacant defensive line coaching position. Ben Blacknall, whom Jones tried to hire last year as offensive coordinator, was named the Bulldogs' defensive line coach last week. Blacknall replaced Cedric Calhoun, who left last month for a similar position at Dartmouth College. Visit Website ]

Gilarski kicks way to football scholarship
Saturday, Gilarski announced he will accept a scholarship offer from Mississippi Valley State to be a place kicker for the Division I-AA school that produced Jerry Rice.
