Miller, who served as linebackers coach last season - his first with the Explorers - takes over for Phil Longo, who resigned on Feb. 28 to become the offensive coordinator at Minnesota-Duluth. "Prayers for Preston" Message Board
On Saturday, November 5th La Salle freshman linebacker Preston Plevretes sustained a devasting hit while covering a punt toward the end of the Explorers game at Duquesne. The hit caused a substantial brain injury which produced swelling and bleeding that required surgery to alleviate. It was later discovered that during the time between suffering the hit and being rushed to the hospital in Pittsburgh he also suffered a stroke. Visit Website ]
