A happy ending for Daniel's Young
It should have been easier than this for D.W. Daniel left guard Duvall Young. He made the prestigious Shrine Bowl roster and earned a starting spot. South Carolina coaches voted him the Class-AAA Upstate lineman of the year. But, Appalachian State complicated the storybook season, pulling its scholarship offer a few days before National Signing Day. Young’s anxiety-filled month and a half is on the verge of a happy ending.
