Redshirt freshmen shine in Demons' scrimmage
NATCHITOCHES — Redshirt freshman quarterback Roch Charpentier completed 8 of 9 passes for 106 yards while rookie tailbacks Patrick Earl and Byron Lawrence each ran for nearly 70 yards Saturday morning as Northwestern State held a 45-play spring football scrimmage at Turpin Stadium.
